THE WILD UNWIND WEEKEND
20 – 22 November 2026
A New Kind of Start to the Year at Fritton Lake
As the nights draw in, The Wild Unwind is a day to embrace the season at Fritton Lake.
Spend the day moving between the lake, woods and Clubhouse, with restorative yoga, seasonal food workshops and time outdoors across the estate. Head out to forage for what’s growing now, warm up in the sauna, relax by the outdoor heated pool or, for the brave, take a cold-water dip in the lake.
The programme has been designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, with a mix of guided workshops and experiences throughout the day. As the light fades, we’ll come together around the fire for hot chocolate and marshmallows; a cosy end to a November day at the lake.
Restorative yoga – With Jack Bryant, 500-hour registered yoga teacher, tarot reader sound healer, reiki master and crystal healer. “My work is centred around creating calm, supportive spaces where people can slow down and reconnect with themselves.”
Forest bathing – Laura Gwynne is a trained forest bathing guide and nature enthusiast who specialises in creating mindful, sensory experiences outdoors. Her sessions invite guests to pause, connect with the landscape, and immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the natural world.
Eating with the Seasons – With Chef Hayley Mac. A plant-based chef and wholefoods educator with a passion for seasonal, nourishing food. Hayley inspires others to reconnect with nature through what they eat. In this workshop, she’ll share the principles of eating with the seasons and embracing nature’s rhythms for a healthier, more balanced approach to food and life.
Foraging across the estate – Join Matthew on a tour around our beautiful resort, nature filled resort to learn about the benefit of wild food including foliage, food and fungi while exploring our beautiful environment. Forage for different typed of fauna and learn everything there is to know about them.

The farmland around Fritton Lake has gradually been restored to self-management, leading to the protection and restoration of carefully managed sustainable wildland that is now home to free-roaming deer, cattle, water buffalo, sheep, ponies, pigs and rich bird and plant life.
Guests are encouraged to book onto nature and foraging safaris or join our rewilding team to learn from and improve our natural ecosystem. Our menu is developed around food provided by our nature restoration project and complemented by produce from only the very best local suppliers, creating a sustainable feast for members, holidaymakers and guests. We take great pride in creating dishes which work with the seasons, reduce food miles and taste fantastic.
