Based in Ely, Jess Trent has spent more than 16 years supporting wellbeing through reflexology and creating meaningful experiences that encourage rest, reflection and connection. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world, weaving together elements of landscape, seasonal rhythms, barefoot walking, storytelling and gentle body awareness.
Salt Circle is a unique, hour-long wellbeing ritual centred around the feet, the senses and the restorative power of slowing down.
Each session begins with gentle foot awakening exercises using peanut physio balls, helping participants reconnect with their bodies and the grounding pleasure of being barefoot. Feet are then immersed in bowls of warm salt water, creating a soothing transition away from the busyness of everyday life.
Through guided breathing, quiet reflection and an original folk story rooted in landscape and season, Jess invites guests into a peaceful state of stillness and presence. Following the foot soak, participants are guided through simple self-reflexology techniques using Jess’s nourishing magnesium butter, bringing gentle touch, awareness and relaxation back to the feet.
There is no expectation to share, participate beyond your comfort level or achieve anything at all. Salt Circle offers a rare opportunity to pause, soften and reconnect with yourself through a simple yet deeply nurturing ritual.
A gentle experience for tired feet, busy minds and anyone seeking an hour of calm.
