4th-5th May | Overnight one-way taster sail | May Bank Holiday Special | Lowesto�-Grimsby | £145 (places available, all ages from 15+)
Join Excelsior for a start of season bank holiday adventure. Expect colder weather, wild seas, and some serious team spirit.

6th-11th June | 6-day schools voyage Grimsby-Edinburgh | (reserved, contact for waitng list)
Sail up the east coast of England and Scotland, making for Scotland’s historic capital.

13th-19th May | 7-day Scotish Expedition | Edinburgh-Orkney | £999/£899 young person (places available, suitable for DofE, all ages from 15+)
Offshore sailing adventure in the wake of the old east coast fishermen, calling in fishing ports along the way and exploring the splendour of Orkney.

23rd-28th May | Orkney Folk Festival | Pop-up events as part of the festival. Stay tuned to find out more!

23rd May – 11th June | Artist Residency Voyage | Orkney-Faroe-Shetland (private, applications to join opening soon).

13th-26th June | Lerwick to Klaipeda | Call to discuss (Available as a group booking, either the fulltrip, or split into 2 legs via Norway as whole group booking. £10,000 per week)

The first leg of the spectacular Tall Ships Races event. This year we are competing in the wide waters of the Baltic Sea accompanied by the biggest and most beautiful sailing tall ships on the planet.

6th-13th July | 7-day young people’s voyage | Helsinki-Tallinn | Leg 2 Tall Ships Races | £999 (6 places available, suitable for DofE, age 15-25)
Cruise-in-Company leg of the spectacular Tall Ships Races event. This year we are competing in the wide waters of the Baltic Sea accompanied by the biggest and most beautiful sailing tall ships on the planet.

13th-20th July | 7-day young people’s voyage | Tallinn-Turku | Leg 3 Tall Ships Races (reserved, contact for waiting list)
The second leg of the spectacular Tall Ships Races event. (13th – 20th July) This year we are
competing in the wide waters of the Baltic Sea accompanied by the biggest and most beautiful sailing tall ships on the planet.

The third leg of the spectacular Tall Ships Races event. ( 26th July – 4th Aug) This year we are
competing in the wide waters of the Baltic Sea accompanied by the biggest and most beautiful sailing tall ships on the planet.

8th-21st August | 14-day adventure | Szczecin-Lowesto� via Kiel Canal | £1300/£1170 young person (places available, suitable for DofE, all ages from 14+)
One of the best adult individual adventures available for the 2024 season from the historic city of
Szczecin (Poland) home to Lowestoft, exploring the western Baltic Sea including the Danish Straits and the unforgettable Kiel Canal passage.

26th-31st August | 6-day schools voyage North Sea Adventure (reserved, contact for waiting list)

September day sails | 10th/11th Sept Lowestot | 19th/20th Sept Ipswich | £145 | More to be

10th-14th October | Harwich International Shanty Festival
Be at the heart of the infamous sea shanty festival with Excelsior, with several booking options on offer:
1. Lowestoft-Harwich all day sail with overnight stay £150
2. Harwich-Lowestoft all day sail with overnight stay £150
3. B&B 2 nights during the Shanty Festival with gourmet breakfast £55 per night (£110)
4. Whole-festival package (sail there, 2 nights B&B, sail back) £40

Event Details

Fritton Lake Activities Booking Policy

  • All activities are to be booked 48-hours in advance.
  • Where minimum numbers are not met on studio classes, these classes will be cancelled, and a transfer of date or refund will be provided.
  • Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to have use on the lake.
  • A lake swimming proficiency test must be booked to swim outside of our group sessions.
  • A paddle board lesson is required for anyone 13+ with no experience, this also includes a lake proficiency test.
  • A paddle board proficiency test must be booked for intermediate and advance users for prior use of our equipment.
  • You are not permitted to use your own equipment on the lake.
  • If any activity has been booked and not attended three times, there will be a temporary restriction on your account for 30 days.
  • Please bring your QR code with you to check-in.

Fritton Lake Cancellation Policy

  • 0-48 Hours | Full loss of total activity cost.
  • 48+ Hours | Transfer of date may be available, or refund with a 10% cancellation fee.

In unforeseen circumstances where medical or relevant evidence is provided (including covid related cancellations) we may be able to offer a transfer of activity date. Must be booked and taken in the following 4 weeks. Evidence deemed acceptable upon discretion of circumstance.
