Then comes the main event: New Year’s Eve. We’re laying on a celebratory buffet that champions Norfolk’s finest, from land, sea, and everything in between. Our chefs have been foraging, sourcing, over a menu that’s indulgent, seasonal, and just a little bit wild.
And the soundtrack to your evening? The New Mojos will be bringing the heat with Funk, Soul, Motown and R&B classics the kind that get you dancing between courses and singing into your dessert spoon.

Our chefs have curated a luxurious feast showcasing the best of coastal and inland Norfolk:
- Canapés: Wells Alpine gougère, Chalk stream trout pastrami, Ashby red deer tartare
- Coastal Delights: Native Colchester oysters, East Coast Frutti Di Mare, Brancaster mussels
- Inland Favourites: Treacle-cured ham, smoked king rib of Flixton Marsh beef, baked winter squash with Fen Farm cows curd
- Sides: Norfolk mids with raclette, bitter leaf salad, roasted winter roots, kohlrabi remoulade
- Puddings & Cheese: Almond, chocolate & marmalade tart, Queen of puddings, Tart tatin and a selection of fine cheeses

The farmland around Fritton Lake has gradually been restored to self-management, leading to the protection and restoration of carefully managed sustainable wildland that is now home to free-roaming deer, cattle, water buffalo, sheep, ponies, pigs and rich bird and plant life.
Guests are encouraged to book onto nature and foraging safaris or join our rewilding team to learn from and improve our natural ecosystem. Our menu is developed around food provided by our nature restoration project and complemented by produce from only the very best local suppliers, creating a sustainable feast for members, holidaymakers and guests. We take great pride in creating dishes which work with the seasons, reduce food miles and taste fantastic.
